What is a CIC?

AgriTechTalk International CIC is a registered Community Interest Company.

Community Interest Companies (CICs) are limited companies with special additional features, created for the use of people who want to conduct a business or other activity for community benefit, and not for private advantage. This is achieved by a 'community interest test' and 'asset lock', which ensure that the CIC is established for community purposes, and that the assets and profits are dedicated to these purposes. We are registered with the CIC Regulator to provide services to poor and marginalised communities worldwide.

We are asset locked to FARM Africa Limited, registered in England and Wales as a charity no. 326901 and a company limited by guarantee no. 01926828.
