The AgriTechTalk Community

In 2015, we set up a branch in Uganda, AgriTechTalk Uganda, in order to better represent and engage with the communities we serve. Athough the activities of our organisations are intrinsically linked, it is an independent organisation, registered with the Uganda NGO board (registration number 11642). As it has grown, its activities have extended across the East Africa region, prompting it to change its name in 2018, to AgriTechTalk Africa.

The objectives of AgriTechTalk Africa are:

- To carry out activities which improve food security of the poorest and most marginalized communities;
- To provide free at point of delivery technical assistance and support services to natural resources conservation and sustainable use;
- To mobilize and engage communities to undertake environmentally oriented livelihood projects/programmes in rural areas;
- To provide technical assistance to agricultural and natural resources development programmes and projects, whether being implemented by NGOs; community-based organisations (CBOs); international agencies (e.g. UN bodies); farmer cooperatives or government institutions.
